Post some before pics. I am going to assume your goals are hypertrophic in nature. 10 months is a long time, if you were doing everything right it would look a certain way...but we need a reference.

You should probably adjust your diet. How has your training been over the last 10 months? stick with big exercises like bench and squats

You've been bulking for 10 months?!

Sorry to be harsh here mate but unless you looked like a skeleton before, somthing is going wrong!

What does your diet look like? You have to up your calorie intake big time! Also are you getting enough protein?

You should also stick to compound lifts. Bench Press, Deadlifts etc and LIFT HEAVY!!!

I went from 10 stone 8 pounds to 13 stone 2 pounds inside the space of 10 months when I started bulking.

i started off weighing 55 kg after 10 months i weighed 69kg and yes i was very very skinny, also in these 10 months i was on 4 different antibiotic courses.
and i have to admit my diet is very crap but i have started to eat alot. i look mainly for clean food

This sentence is confusing me, you took no supplements the first 3-4 months or put on 25kg in the first 3-4 months (which is crazy). If you meant 25kg over 10 months that is still alot, I wanna see a before pic too!

i put on 25kg in the first 3-4 months, ive never taken any supplements or any protein shakes.
lol i too wish i had before pics,
but heres my before stats
biceps - before 12" after - 13"
thats all i had lol :p im 100% sure i put on atleast 1-2 inches on chest and 1 inch on legs

Hmm pretty sure that a +1lb increase each weak on average is damn good. I don't know why you are getting knocked for that. If we haven't seen his before pics, we don't know how great his transformation has been, really..

Some people start off skinny and work hard to get to 'normal', that doesn't mean he hasn't made an impressive change in his physique.

nope i didnt get taller still 5"10"
i havent gained weight after 3-4 month of trainning ive started eating alot more than what i did before too, and i have a "proper" routine as well

Which is why we still need before pics.

Regardless, ten months of bulking should yeild greater results than this. This is like month 3 off coming out of Auschwitz or something. If you put on 1 lb/week for 10 months, you must have been a literal skeleton when you first started.

That, or post your diet.

i dont actually have a routine to what i eat cause i live in a family, im only 17, i eat what my mum makes.
but for breakfast i ALWAYS have oats and 1 boiled egg

The way I see it.. Progress is progress.. Maybe he wasn't blessed like you being a hulking monster when he started out.

i thought everyone started out as hulking monsters? :p

gunit - I have a question (maybe i misunderstood). you said you started at 55kg, and you're at 69kg now... 69 - 55 = 14kg gain... not 25? or am i missing something??

check your diet and workout program and you might be able to multiply your results in the next 10 months! maybe you should check "The New Rules of Lifting" by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove... It breaks each program down so you understand WHY you're doing it, not just how to do it!

lol thanks for correcting me skian i knew something was wrong, yea its 14kg not 25kg:eek:
my workout program is perfect for me its jus my diet, and i cant do much about it :(

Oh okay, 14 kg ~ 30 lbs. That's more sensible, but after ten months of bulking...

Niceone, I just calls em as I see's em. You need to take into account the what the evidence suggests. I'm not saying it's a character flaw of his to progress the way he did (which turned out to be a calculation error...go figure), I'm just pointing out an abnormality or something that seemed off. And you know what, I was right. It was off.

well look isnt it sensible 10 months = 40 weeks, at 1lb per week i should gain 40lb right, but instead i gained 30lb, keeping in mind that i was on several antibiotic courses which make u lose weight and makes u weak
