Hello, my name is Margy and I'm from NZ. I have just started taking this supplement and am scared at the high rate of caffeine in it (about 350mg per capsule) - anyone had any success/bad reactions to this diet pill? I don't normally take these but thought why not! I have around 6kg to lose :)

Very few of us bother with diet pills. I wouldn't bother with them.

I suggest that you discuss them with your doctor and ask him whether he thinks them to be a good idea. If something scares us - often it is because we suspect that we should not be doing it...

6 kg is really not a great deal of weight that you need to lose... Why not try eating more healthily and exercising a bit more without bothering with diet pills? That is definitely what I would do.

I agree with Omega's post. The people who make those pills aren't actually interested in you getting and staying slim, they just want you to keep buying their product. Permanent lifestyle changes are the "secret" to successful and long term weight loss.

Any caffeine based pill will only have a marginal effect (Caffeine boosts metabolism) but only if your diet and exercise is already perfect.

Exercise and diet over pills. If you want to start dieting but without making a huge change, cut down on the condiments. If you put a teaspoon of ketchup on your hotdog, put half. Keep doing it and you'll eventually eat a hotdog without ketchup, and not mind!

If the number on the scales is important to you - you can lose a few pounds by simply drinking the right amount of water (which is more than most people drink) and being careful about your sodium intake (stop adding salt to the cooking or the plate and become aware of the sodium content of your food). These have an impact on water retention

IMO, the only pills you should be popping are multivitamins to compensate for any lack of nutrients from calorie cutting.
Caffeine pills might help, but no more then intentionally parking on the far end of a parking lot to force you to walk. There are better, more permanent things you can do without wasting your money.
