I do a FBW every other day and just recently started HIIT on off days. I do the recommended routine for beginners but that seems like a little too much for me. I can handle the cardio but my legs die quickly and it becomes painful in my calf area to even walk. I'm wondering if I could shorten it up to something like

And while I'm here, does running build muscle? I read on here that it's a myth, but I feel my legs getting stronger and my calves look bigger. Thanks for your help.
