Worried

Hi there. I started working out in the gym about 3 months ago now (weight lifting). I go 3 times a week. Recently I began doing 5km runs every other day that I don't go to the gym. I also try and eat healthy balanceing carbs/protiene/fat and what not into my diet. I have a few popsicles a day as a treat and just 2day I was at the movie theter and decided not to have that Large butterd popcorn and I actaully just bought an apple juice. On the way home though I stopped by a gas station to use the washroom and ended up buying a small .99 cent bag of nacho chips. I also had a few homemade chocolate chip cookies very high in white flower when I got home that where sitting on my counter as a present from my nabour bless her heart. I don't usually eat like that. Usually its just like i sad carbs/protiene/fats and what not all balanced with good 5km runs and the gym and so it starts to worry me when I have a few cookies or cave into some nacho chips and to be honest It feals much more like i'm on a strick't diet thein me eating healthy. My goals are to gain lots of muscle and to lower my body fat% and get thoughs rippling washboard abbs and the rest of it all. I beat myself up if I eat anything what so ever thats conciderd "junk food" and I seem to check the label on anything I put in my mouth now adays and i'd love to be able to "pig out" now and thein or even just a little bit. Is this really that bad? I mean .. what will become of my BF% if i'm havein some treats or w/e now and thien and still running/weightlifting and eating healthy, at the same time.
plz respond!! =) thnx u all <3

Trick is when dieting etc is not to punish yourself too much. If you cut out all the crap completly (admitedly the crap tastes nice but its not great for you) you WILL cave in and pig out and wreck all of your hard work.

I have got a thing for chocolate, I love the stuff, but ive been eating healthier now for around 14 weeks and am down from 242 pounds to 210 as of this morning :D. Basically what I do is if i fancy some I would eat those little snack breakfast bars with chocolate in them just to get a taste without doing too much damage as they are quite low in fat and carbs if you pick the right one. I've also ate takeaways, been to restaurants and picked mixed grills with chips (or fries if your in the states :)) and drank beer etc etc. As long as you don't eat the crap constantly and work hard in the gym, you won't hinder your progress too much, but If you cut it out completly you'll give in.

Ease up a little and allow yourself treats, but keep them in moderation and you'll be fine.
