hi guys, i weight 161 lbs 5"10, i am on this 4 day 1off routine, i have been working out for about an year, and i never been in the gym my life before. i have seen result and changes after 1 year. For example, my bench press has increased from 1 rep max 85lb to 175lb (i also gained 20 lbs, was 140) ever since i first started an year ago. I never stop going to the gym during this one year, my question is that have i made a okay progress?? or i should push myself harder?

Your strength has increased by more than 100%, that's great progress. Just keep at it, and you'll continue to grow!

ye, have you seen the same increases in the rest of your body. Also what are your goals for training, if you don't have any it may be time to set some out as this will help you push yourself a bit more. Also if you are doing the same routine it may be time to change it

yeah

i had same prgress on other body parts too, my abs, legs, shoulder etc.
but my question is that my progress seem slowing down, its really hard to increase weight anymore, for example, 175lb is my 1 rep bench press max, again i weight 160 lbs, just wondering:confused:

I think you need to work harder now.

Bench that 8+ times.

You will get another increase in the coming months. Tweak your routine.

its not uncommon to start off with massive increases in strength and growth.. then slow down. It just happens that way, otherwise everyone would be JACKED! :)

embrace what you have attained, and work hard to keep progressing!
