Workout Gloves

I was wondering what workout gloves (I think that's what they're called) you guys think are good. Anyone have experience with gloves that they would like to share? Nothing too expensive or anything? I heard that Harbringers weren't that great but that's all I know as of now.

I don't even use gloves anymore, lol. Buy any with a good layer of leather and fit well. There's pretty much a standard, and many of the workout gloves you see on sale will be relatively the same.

Was there a mention somewhere that workout gloves hinder forearm development?

Workout gloves shouldn't do anything to hinder forearm development, using straps would hinder development though as you don't need grip strength as much.

I have seen all kinds of workout gloves, never used any myself though. I can see a benefit from any gloves with a wristwrap though to add some stability and support to the joint.

Aside from looking uber badass in them, XD - I will be excited to try them out tomorrow morning.

Workout GLOVES don't hinder anything, except your hands getting rough... For the most part, they just keep the bar/handles from slipping...

Workout STRAPS on the other hand, do hinder grip/forearm strength...

I use VALEO brand gloves which I paid aroun $11.00 or so, at sports mart. They r not oo bad, they come with Wrist band. They dint really last long enough, 4 months. Iam looking for a new pair too. iam not too sure how well the branded, NIKE or Everlast ones work/Last.........

I tried both kinds of gloves, wrist band and the ones without wrist band, I persoanlly think the wrist band gives me a Kind of support when I do Bicep Curls overs a bench.

I use some basic nike gloves I picked up at a local sports store. I can lift more, worry less about slipping, and look cool ;-). Any pair will work well - though if you need wrist support I suggest you use boxing wraps; they work great and will keep your wrists well supported.

hey yeah i use either nike or everlast ones they work great !!! very handy!!
