Working the chest

i've been working on my chest trying to get a nice rectangular and flat (even) chest. i've tried push ups, pec decks, brench press, free weight exercises, but i still can't flaten them and get a nice even shape. my pecs are thicker on the outer sides but thin in the middle of my chest. i'm not sure of my fat % but could possibly lose a bit, is it that or the training?

try doin pullups cause those seem to work more in the center of your chest and not so much near your arm pits

Guys, you cannot change the shape of a muscle. The only way to change it's shape (make it longer, flatter, etc) is to change it's insertion points and this can only be accomplished by surgery. It's why some people will work all their lives and never achieve a high peak on their biceps, etc.
