Woodt's Log.

I had one of these written up, then long story, it got deleted.

So, being in a lazy mood this will be shorter.

Training for:
Strength, endurance.

Currently:
152-156lbs
5ft 11/6ft.
Basically good middle distance runner. Want to get fitter though. Build up more strength and power.
Local run, around 2miles uphill doing in 11.13. Aiming for 11.00 then going lower.
Bench - 75kg

In short. After months of arguing with myself to make a log, make it official. I've decided to. I have found myself eating tons of chocolate, 3 bars per day recently, and I feel like I'm only at 50% of what I should be.

Putting this down to energy, with more I would feel better, have more motivation and work better. To get more I have to:
Better my diet.
Eat balanced, high in protein. Lots of water. Nothing else. Maybe getting supplements.
Sleep 9 hours a day. That means 10-7 on weekdays. Whatever times at weekend so long as they reach 9 hours.

Workout:
3x full body per week
4x run per week
Athletics training.

Starting tomorrow. Posts shall not always be daily. As of THIS point, new slate. Yay. I only wish I hadn't deleted my origional :D. Let the pain begin ;)

Well, I'm starting properly on Monday, but since Thursday I have managed to avoid most junk food. I've been busy in the past 2 days with moc exams, so all I've been doing is practising keeping a good diet. Man, it's actually hard. Last night I went to a party, and cause I had friends over at a pizza, sadly for me, that'll probably be the last one I have for a while.

Today aiming to stick to the healthy foods, do a few body weight exercises and maybe do a simple full body with my weights in my house. Then I'll be rested for Monday, when I can really begin. Other than that, I'm going to get some school work out the way, not that I have much. Get some kind of simple loose timetable together for after-school on weekdays, and sort myself out

So:
Accomplisments since Thursday: 18 1 handed push ups in a row. To prove a friend wrong. :D

Mood: Willing and ready (not in the context you may be thinking ;))

Today was pretty cool. Nothing really to report. Ate throughout the day:

3 slices of toast
Apple
Orange
Yogurt x 2 ( 300ml)
6 Pancakes
Burger
Roast Dinner
Nuts

Still on a very normal diet. But tomorrow it begins. Great. Also got very complicated relationship problems. Wahay!

Bit of rowing machine later to stretch out a bit.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday update.

Monday was great. I was tired but pushed myself to getting everything set for my workouts. I hit the free weights in my room and did a variety of exercises:

Mil press 3 x 10
Bicep Curls 3x8
Dumbell rows 3x8
Press ups, explosive etc. + weighted
Pull ups.
Squats
Lunges
Calf-raises.

Diet was generally alright.

Tuesday was great in the way of diet, and what's more went to athletics.
Had to run 1200s and 300s. So basically run a 1200m, 3 min rest, 300m sprint, 6 min rest. Repeat. Well after the first 1200 I knew something was wrong. My chest just gave out. Did it in around 4 mins. Although I paced myself, it was far too slow. I'm going to try my inhaler again, even though I'm meant to have grown out of asthma.

Today. Well what can I say. I bought a chocolate bar when I was absolutely starving. I unwrapped it. And I gave it to my friend. I'm officially no longer addicted. The futures bright. So when my dinners gone down I'm going to do another Monday. Then on Sat going to go gym.

On some other notes:
Under 2 months until my 4 weeks of 'becoming machines' as my friend puts it. Fun. Looking forward to the end of that.

Relationship status is still completely screwed up. Any relationship counselors around? Lol. The joys of teenagedom. Anyway, my 'godly status' is apparently making a come-back, something to do with my hair apparently. Great.

This needs a new post. Today, Wednesday, has been awsome in the way of fitness. My relationship problem is still in huge termoil, however, what I've done in the last two hours doing made me feel proud.

So:

Similar workout to the one in previous post. Far more intense. Then it gets good.

Went outside. Got on my spikes, went into back garden and did around 25 sprints, mixed with press ups, all variations I know, squat jumps, running exercises etc. Now I am exhausted but it feels fantastic. Also, hate to be a poser, but when I was getting a drink/shower on the outside tap, I took my top off and couldn't help but notice that I am in fact in pretty good shape. :D

Quick update:
Clean diet.
3+ litres of water downed today and still going (dry heat. complete dehydration)
Sprints mixed with powerwork and some rowing machine.
As far as everything else goes. Nothing new :(

So:
Accomplisments since Thursday: 18 1 handed push ups in a row. To prove a friend wrong. :D

Update time:

Today is crap. Last day of school for this half term. One week off. Going to spain. Sounds great? Yes?

Well:

I'm ill, yeah, hayfever or whatever, I have a cold and feel crap.
My phone bill was £67 last month. Guess I got my contract to late.
Girl problems are sucky. Never know what they're thinking. Fantastic.

My mood: ****ed off

But today, I am going to do a workout. And force myself to feel better in the next three hours. Keep ya posted :p

Back from spain. Awsome. Decided while away. Until june 22nd (sports day) I'm only focusing on running. So no weight training for me.

Quick update:

On Monday ran a 10.50 on my little local run, which is 2.2 miles, on incline. Proud as hell of that, as a lot of people can't do that on a track. :D

11 days I have been off this site. Seems ages. Haven't been training. Had GCSEs, and a few problems to deal with. Then over the weekend sorted them out. Now I have sports day on Friday, and I don't know why but I have suddenly felt this mad urge to break the 800m record which stands at 2.11. Whole school record is 2.05. I'm in 9th grade/year 10 btw.

2.11, an impressive time right? Well get this, the track at school is a 300m, grass track, with incline on at least half of it. So basically I'm going to have to eat, sleep, train, like a mad man till Friday. Literally push myself through the limits. Physically I know I won't be able to improve that much till Friday, but mentally I think I can do pretty good. So anyway, after Friday I will be hitting the weights for a bit. Shall be fun. Keep you posted.

Sports Day isn't till the 13th July now due to weather. Kind of happy about this. But also putting this log on hold for a while. Need to get back into lifting.
