Yeah...I'm happy...and hyper.

I stepped on the scale this morning and found that I've lost 5 pounds this past week. I'll tell you, that's a seeerious self-esteem booster.
 
Hehe, I'm rather excited. I've been over weight since my parents took me out of public school, and I'll be going to college this fall. Eeep...5 pounds down...45-55 to go :p In time...in time.

Congrats! Yep, Losing the weight is the biggest motivation ive found.

Just don't count on 5lbs per week every week. (Pretty unsafe to lose this much this quickly, although I am sure that's a "no duh".)
 
Congrats, but i do have a question couple months ago i started to diet and everything, i ran a mile 6 days a week and ate sorta healthy 2 months i still ate what i wanted i had chicken fingers and all with fries, and i lost around 16 pounds. Then i started to eat really healthy and aslo excercised more and lost a couple pounds here and there a total to about 20-23 pounds I WAS VERY PROUD. I now weigh 137 but i know ur all thinking i must be skinny but im not i still have my chubby belly and i dont understand why im not losing it anymore like i was im eating healthy foods i only have 1 snack a week and i excercise more, so what do u think the problem is?
 
i dont eat JUNK Food all the time so just 1 lil snack per week shouldnt mess up my weight loss plan i eat 1 snack per week to reward myself. Now that freakin shouldnt mess my excercising up so i dont understand why ur saying just eating that would mess up My "weight-loss" problem
 
How long has it been since you've lost any weight? From everything Ive read, the last 10 lbs you have to lose can be the most stubborn thing you've ever done in your life.
 
What do you mean? Are you saying like if i only have to lose 10 more pounds its gonna be really freakin hard like it is right now for me trying to lose more weight?
