My uncle was a boxer when I was younger and taught me a few things here and there. I always loved boxing but never took it past "something to do" when I was at his house. Now I'm looking for a fun form of exercise that I actually like to do.
I'm pretty much at the beginning of my weight loss (30 pounds gone, at least another 70 to go). I want to get into boxing and mixed martial arts.
Thing is, I'm worried I can't do that stuff until I'm already in good shape. Do any women on here already box/mma? Should I lose the weight first and start afterwards to build muscle and tone up?
