Well I am a 20 year old male near Los Angeles. I started at 218, I'm now 198 and my target weight is 175ish which I feel might be a comfortable weight for my frame size and I seem to be gaining muscle fairly easily. I cheated and instead of making it a New Years resolution, I started right after Thanksgiving.
I won't go into the details about my diet or exercise routine but I've begun eating much healthier and I exercise with a mix of aerobics and weight training for about an hour 6 times a week. My only bump is that I'm having a little trouble getting green leafy vegetables into my diet but I do love things like carrots or sandwiches with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc. I just need to include a salad with lunch every once in a while.
I guess I'm here to share my personally gained knowledge and insight and maybe pick up some things/methods/ideas I never would have looked into.
Oh and while I'm posting, I have a question about multivitamins. I currently take Centrum but I was looking into One-A-Day WeightSmart as I've read that dieters are usually slightly deficient in the B complex and E vitamin. Is the difference in these types of supplements nil because I eat a fairly balance diet? We're talking 100% RDI for some vitamins in Centrum to 125% in One-A-Day. I'm not really worried over the inclusion of EGCG as I'm an avid green tea (good quality loose leaf) drinker already since it helped me give up soda. Thanks!
