Wishful Shrinking - My journey through pictures

I've been criticized for my weight all my life. I was a figure skater for 16 years and I was told to lose weight a million times. I didn't know any better then but I wasn't fat. It was mostly muscle. When I quit skating I gained a lot of weight. Over the years it has slowly crept up on me.

A much younger me:

Now it's gotten out of control and I've finally decided to do something about it!

So hopefully I'll have some in-between photos pretty soon!

Update: I took some new photos. I've lost 20 lbs but since the clothes are different I can't really see a difference. I'll be taking photos in my workout clothes from now on. Also, pardon the fact that I look like a hot mess.

I'm pretty sure I'm losing my boobs first!

This is my goal shirt. I bought it in August 2010 to wear to a wedding and it never fit (I hate trying on clothes). I was going to give it away but I decided to keep it. It's supposed to be loose so we'll see how my body changes.

You're so pretty. I especially like the university pic. You have such a nice smile.
We're all here for you. You can do it!

I look forward to seeing your between photos ^_^

It is always a tuff ride trying to lose weight because you always lean back to your comfort zone and usually that is unhealthy food. Once you learn how to live a healthier lifestyle it just all clicks together and great things start happening for all your hard work. It took me a long time to realize but now i love sharing the knowledge i have to help people get to that point that they feel completely great about themselves.(request removed) i always have my ear open to someone who needs help and support in losing weight.
