Please help me I've been suffering from this condition for as long as I can remember. I've been told many times to stand up straight with my shoulders back and while I can force the desired posture it falls back into place when I let go. Basically my shoulder blades stick out and its worse on my right side. Also my shoulders lean forward and I think this may be from spending too much time in front of a computer. Can anyone recommend me some exercises that can be done without fancy equipment. So far I've been doing "rows", aka leaning forward at a 90 degree angle and pulling up weights with my my arm perpendicular to the floor. I've also tried scapular pushups, lying face down on the floor and pulling my shoulders blades up and then down, and facing my back against a wall forcing my back to be flat and leaning my head back while staring down towards the floor (supposedly this lengthens the neck or something). Can anyone recommend anything else or give some advice?
I'll just that it doesn't cause any pain, just discomfort and sometimes cramps in my neck. Not to mention poor body image.
