will using slimfast really help?

Hi, well i started using slimfast today actually, and i don't know if it will work, has anyone used it, and noticed a weight loss, i will work out daily, and use it for breakfast and lunch, and eat a light dinner. I just want to drop 20 lbs. i gained 20 lbs during the holidays last year. please give me your advice.

sure it will probably work if you stick to the diet and exercise. it's a simple calorie reduction diet where you're replacing breakfast and lunch with a relatively low calorie replacement. those drinks are totally artificial and taste terrible though, IMO. you'd do much better by buying some whey protein powder to make your own replacement shakes. that way you could use some powder, water, fruit, milled flax seed, etc. and make truly healthy meal replacement shakes, which slim fasts are not.

i agree, last time i looked at a can of slim fast the nutrition content was horrible. dont know if changes have been made but i wouldnt think so.

making your own drinks along with making a lifetime commitment is the way to go :)

yeah, thanks, since i have been drinking them, i have been feeling malnurished, i actually took the drink with some ice in a blender with some strawberries, and it wasn't too bad... .
thanks

Slim Fast

well iu sed to use and it really worked very well for me
so i think slim fast will alos owrk well if you take it on time

skip the supplements and stick to whole foods & exercise - primarily cardio - and you'll lose weight. same old formula that's been around for many many years.

if you want to go the shake route to lose some weight get some of the aforementioned whey protein powder and make your own low cal meal replacement drinks using fruits, milled flax seed, water, cinnamon, oats, etc. - many combinations of healthy drinks you can come up with. slim fast and all it's ilk are basically super sweet, artificial goop that have little nutritional value. if you're gonna cut back the calories you must make sure what you DO eat/drink has a lot of real nutrients, not added artificial vitamins and minerals.
