Hi there I'm 17, weigh 55kg and am a UK size 8/10 on top and UK 10/12 on the bottom, and 5ft 3 inch tall. I am not so much bothered about how much I weigh, but more that I want to get rid of my belly fat! I want a flat stomach; I'm not bothered about it being toned but just nice and flat with no muffin top! I would also like to always be a size 8 on the top and always a size 10 on the bottom. (Which I am normally but super tight cut things I’m a 12 in.) Whereas I normally have to buy a size 10 on the top, because I feel my belly looks big and gross in size 8 most of the time.
This is my daily diet:
Breakfast: medium bowl of bran flakes with soya milk, cup of pure orange juice and vitamins.
Lunch: wholemeal tortilla wrap with a table spoon of reduced fat hummus, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, tomato and quarter tin of tuna. OR a bowl of low fat soup with 2 pieces of whole meal bread. Both with an apple and orange.
Dinner: Can be a variety of things nothing over 500 cals, stuff like salad with a herring and 2 boiled egg whites, baked potato with pesto and a table spoon of cheddar, veggie sausages with tomatoes or soup again.
Dessert: Varies, and I don't have one every day, also nothing after 8pm, small bowl of frozen yogurt, two table spoons of ice cream, half a sugar free angel delight, mug of hot chocolate.
Snacks: 2/3 rice cakes, 2 pieces of 85% dark chocolate, 1/2 biscuits or 1 cereal bar. Obviously depending on how hungry I am, I'll normally eat one or two of those snacks options.
(I also make a point of having 5 fruit and vegetables a day.)
I go to college 3 days a week and I have worked out that on those 3 days I do 40 minutes of brisk walking. I have started exercising 2 days a week leaving the weekend free. In my work out I do 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of stomach exercises. I work out before breakfast. I have only started doing this for 2 weeks now. Do you think this will help me lose fat? Is my diet okay? Basically I would like to know if I could make any improvements on my plan. Or is does my plan sound okay?
Thanks for any help!
