Wider hips, slimmer waist...

After a very good cutting phase, and losing more than 10kg, I am finally satisfied with my results and dropping bf to arond 10%, and I'd like to add some muscle now...
However, I seem to have an unusual problem. It seems to me that genetically my waist is really slim, while my hips are a bit wider (not that much, but enough to see difference now when I got skinnier). I'm not sure if that is because of my hips bone structure or maybe just because I have less developed muscles in mid-section or smth. I also have a tendency to build up fat around my hips area when I gain some weight... Now that I finally got rid of almost all of the fat there, and going to bulk carefully (hence my other topic), I need some tips on how to bulk-up in this mid-section to make my body less 'curvy' (sorry on bad explanation, I'm not from english speaking territory ;))
Now, I know I cannot bulk-up in one particular area only any more than I can spot reduce, but is there some way I could achieve this a bit more in my waist area by adding some heavy side bends or something along the way?
Or is it just my genetics and there's no way I can do anything...?

Please give me your advice,
Tnx

Actually, since I already had a hard time explaining my problem to you I decided to google a bit about this, and now I see I expressed myself incorrectly.
I wasn't thinking about hips in a way where hip dimensions are measured, I was thinking about the part between hips and waist, just to the sides in a level of my bellybutton... Hope this is clearer now ;)
Tnx
