why won't my wrist get bigger

i've been doing wrist curls and reverse wrist curls and all it's been doing is working out my forearms. It's so gay. My left wrist feels kinda bad too wat's going on!!!
 
That's the point of wrist curls...to work your forearms. You're wrists themselves aren't going to get huge. Try doing grip exercises, but don't expect your wrists to get extremely big because there's little muscle there. It's mostly tendons and bone.
 
there's no way to make your wrist get bigger, unless you get really really fat.

and if your wrist is feeling bad your probably putting to much strain on it, this is dangerous the wrist is a complex and important joint you don't want to mess with it
 
well i disagree with you guys i think that as long as he works out the forearms the wrists will consequently get bigger.... of course not much, but at least a little.
 
well there goes my hopes as a professional arm wrestler. I always lose arm wrestles because my wrist is so weak. I LOST TO A FREAKIN GIRL man. But i tell ya she is on steroid or soemthign she plays sports like no tomorrow. We had an arm wrestle in biology class and even the teacher laguhed at me. It was a quite embarassing moment for me you see. Now all of you can laugh at me too. Great.
 
Your wrists aren't weak. Your forearms are. What do you think is connected to the wrist? The forearm and rotery cuff get you good at arm wresteling.

that doesn't mean you can't make it stronger. size and strength are not always related. look at Bruce Lee he was as strong as slab of titanium but he was tiny. It's a fallacy to think the bigger someone is the stronger he is, muscle density is a far greater determinant of strength. Look at a chimpanzee their about as strong as 10 regular men but still a good deal smaller.
