Why am I not losing weight? I havent eaten a thing for 1 week 1 day, I’ve drunk lots of water to keep myself hydrated and I’ve been jogging 3 miles a night and swimming as often as possible. So I’m exercising lots and not eating anything, so why do I still look fat in the mirror? My scale says I’ve lost lots of weight, but I can’t see it. I’m getting VERY tired though so it’s hard to exercise lately, but I try my best. I almost fainted today at school, so how can I avoid not fainting?

Here i get some tips from

I dont know do these tips work?

1weight loss takes time

2you’re not losing weight because your body is in starvation mode. it hangs on to every ounce of calaries your body can muster up. When you go into startvation mode and then you come out of it you will gain a ton more weight. it’s better just not o go into starvation mode.

3By not eating, youre throwing off your metabolism which will throw off how much weight you lose. its better to eat healthy. And you wont look thinner after 1 week. thats impossible. weight loss is a process

4You should not try to lose weight by not eating anything. You will just gain it back when you start eating again. You have to eat better and perhaps less and then you will start losing about 2 pounds a week.

5It is a lot harder for women to lose weight than men, so just be patient. Read up on the subject and find what works for you.

6Starve yourself & your body will hold onto it’s fat & you’ll loose muscle. This is not healthy. You need to eat healthy with the right proportions, etc. Your body goes into survival mode when you starve yourself & you do lots of damage. Please talk to your parents or a counselor.

7not eating isnt the answer to weight loss. it is a slow and gradual process which u cant just “speed up”. by eating less calories then you burn u will lose weight, by not eating you are depriving your body of vital nutrients. When u stop eating, ur metabolism slows down as there is no food to digest, so you are unlikely to lose alot of weight. the key is to eat many small meals (maybe up to 6 a day) with a low amount of calories, eating slow release carbs like rice.

hope this advice helps

You can't possibly be serious posting those tips and asking the question you're asking...

Do you have any kind of sense at all?

What do you expect to get out of starving yourself?

are you trying to develop an eating disorder?
