Why hello there, I'm new!

Hi! My name is Suzanne...but fat Suzi seemed appropriate.

I'm 21 years old, and have been overweight since I was about 8. When I was 9, my mom put me in junior lifeguards, where I was run around for 6 hours a day. I went from a size 15 to a size 11 in about 2.5 months. I stopped eating right or exercising, and from the time I was 9 until I was 16, went from a size 11 to a size 14, and from there I've gone up to a size 18/20, and I'm only 5'3.5". And I'm pretty over it. For the past 8 months I've tried to lose weight on my own, but it's crazy hard to do by yourself with no support. So now I'm here.

My goals are to get some motivation and support and help from this site, as well as to get down to like 130. "Ideally" I'd be at 115 according to my height, but we'll see what it's like down at those sizes. I could get to 130 and be pleased as punch, so I'm going with it for now.

Anyways. Hello! Nice to meet you all! Hopefully I'll have an awesome time, and if anyone has any diet advice or an awesome plan that's reasonable, please help me! So far I've seen the rice diet, and it looks super cool. So. I'll see you guys around!

Hello there!

My only bit of advice for you is that you make it a lifestyle change and not a diet. Diets tend to make us feel as if all our hard work is only temporary but in reality we need to change our lifestyle to help us to eat healthy and keep the weight off forever.

My personal lifestyle change includes eating 1100-1300 calories of good food every day. Exercising 6 times a week. And visiting this website constantly for support, motivation, and friendship.

Hiya Suzi, i have been in this forum for about a week and it has helped me so much, whenever i feel like cheating on my diet plan i just read some posts on here and it soon motivates me, i hope it can do the same for you, all the best on your weight loss journey

Yay replies! I know it's not just about finding a "diet." It is about a way of life. And I'm down with that. It's just that I'm one of those people who needs like, a regimine. I've made changes in the 8 months I've been trying, in that I no longer eat horrible food all the time, I don't drink soda or juice or anything anymore, only water with rare exception. And I've joined a gym and go more often than not. I just thought it'd be cool to join a forum and get some additional support in my life. And find a regimine for myself, because I'vee proven that I'm bad at "just eating well" and winging it.

Aaaanyways. I'm rambling. Soo...yes. I'll be around.
