why do i feel so weak after loosing weight

so i lost about 25lbs in a period of 6 weeks, mainly by cutting calories and lots of cardio. my daily calorie intake i reduced to between 1200 - 1600 calories and i do a 60min session daily on the eleptical machine. the machine says i burn about 700 - 800 calories doing that....my problem now is that i feel so damn weak....i have a lot more energy but the other day i wanted to workout my legs i had trouble picking up the 45lb weights (plate) to put on the machine....any ideas?
 
Its quite obvious you don't have enough calorie intake!! When your working out your burning off any carbs you ate then its probably cutting into your muscle because it has to get energy from somewhere! Recommend calorie intake is 2000 calories a day. Sounds like your getting less than 1000 after you work out.

Try eating more....Don't forget some protien!
 
The base metabolism will burn 1200 calories anyway. Beyond that according to your diet you have a maximum 400 more. No wonder there is a serious and I would say an unhealthy calorie deficit.

Gotta eat more!
 
definately when you say your burning 700-800 calories on the elliptical machine too.

Eat some more good food or maybe look into getting a calorie supplement.
