Why am I always hungry??

I ate my main meal an hour ago. I'm now hungry and fighting with myself to not open that Easter egg in the cupboard...
For my dinner I had beetroot couscous, leftover roast chicken and salad with homemade coleslaw (with fat free yoghurt not mayo.)
I drink plenty of water, I had a pint with my meal!
What would help me stay fuller longer? And any tips for not snacking later?
 
Perhaps try to do some smaller meals throughout the day , spacing it out sometimes helps. Vegetables also are a good filler that are low calorie. You could eat an entire cup of spinach for just 7 calories!

I read somewhere that 1 banana fulls your stomach without additional unwanted calories or maybe any fruit you might want.
