Who's all about the encouragement?

Hello, My name is Kristen and I am 19 years old. I am a student at The Ohio State University and I am majoring in pre-med. So yea I have a stressful life in the past two years I have gained 50 lbs! On my 5'8 frame I currently weigh 230 lbs...five lbs lighter than last week yay! I used to play basketball year around in high school and was very active in everything. I have never been small and have never known the feeling of complete confidence. I have been with my boyfriend now for almost 3 years and he is also dieting with me...he is 6'3 and 280--I really think that we have both been so content with each other that weight gain just snuck up on us. I joined this page for encouragement...other dieters are my best influence! What do ya'all think would be my ideal weight? I want to look good for Daytona!:)

Welcome to the WLF and good for you and your boyfriend for getting in shape together :)

I'm 5'8" with a large bone structure and my goal weight is 155 - the suggested range was 149-169 pounds for my height and bones, so I pulled 155 out of the hat and figured I'd get there first, then decide what to do next ;)

M2m thank you so much for the welcome! I was thinking that 170 would be good weight for me b/c even now I am solid through my arms and legs im a rather large boned gal too!:) I appreciate it! I look forward to getting to know you as well!
