whole grain & 100% whole wheat?

What is the difference between whole grain and 100% whole wheat. About 2 weeks ago i made the transition from wheat to 100% whole wheat. Should i be eating Whole grain instead? I thought i would hate the taste of wheat bread itself but it actually fills me up better than what white bread would ever do!
 
Look at what flour they use to make the bread, if its enriched, run away. If it says 100 percent whole wheat flour, your good.
 
Whole wheat means that they don't refine then enrich the wheat before it gets made into the bread. I.e., you retain the natural nutrients in the grain.

Whole grain is like whole wheat, but not *necessarily* limited to the wheat (there are other grains in the bread. This tends to make it more gritty, but more flavorful too). Sometimes, however, they put whole grain and it does just mean whole wheat.

My personal favorite is multi-grain, which is whole grain with an assurance of multiple sources of whole food. These tend to absorb better and have a variety of nutrients not present in just whole wheat.
 
read the ingredients, if it says stoneground wheat, then that means its really 100%. enriched anything in the ingredients, not good.
 
i had Wheat TWINS hearty grain today 5 packs of them 2 crackers in each pack...because i was still hungary at lunch cuz i only had a couple strawberries a cup of jello and a turkey sandwich. THe crackers had enriched wheat in them : /

Not only that, but I bet they also had partially-hydrogenated oils, too - as most crackers do.
