Which form of martial arts would work for me?

I'm a swimmer, and i had thought about boxing, but i mean dang, my shoulders are on fire after a good swim workout,
and i have to say, i worry i'd wind up with an overuse injury in my shoulders if i did box.

I'm a senior this year, and my freshman year i got picked on a lot, and bullied a bit too, and i'm still small, just not as small as i was then.

I'd just like to learn a form of martial arts for self protection, but one that would also not be so hard on my shoulders since they're already getting hit hard in swimming.

Krav Maga? I'm 5'5" and I can hold my own in classes. And its not completely punching, its general self-defense for weapons, hands, legs, etc.

Judo, Aikido or Kung-fu.

Judo and Aikido use you opponents weight against them and Aikido also has many useful holds that can be really painful and incapacitate someone with no effort by the user.

I have never studied Kung-Fu but from what i have seen and heard it is a very effective martial art that can be used in defense and offense.

Al the best;
Noguchi
