Hello! My name is Nicole. So heres my thing, I've always been in good shape my whole life up until a few years ago. I am 21, I weigh 152lbs and i'm 5'8 tall. Now I understand those dimensions would make me healthy, my my main problem is toning up and eating right. I would like to get back to my old weight ranging between 120 and 130lbs. I am not saying I'm fat, don't get me wrong...but I have NO muscle definition. I don't know where I should start with getting fit. I don't know what kind of exercise routine i should be doing, and i don't have the will power to eat right all the time. I'm a mess and i need help!!!!

also, i noticed my weight gain after i started birth control. And since I've been on it, it seems almost impossible to lose the weight. Nothing works for me, but maybe I'm just doing it all wrong.

try keeping track of your calories in a program like - or one ofhte 100's of other free food journals out on the web... if you know what you're taking in - it makes it a lot easier to know what you change to get the results you want.

And do spend some time reading the stickied threads around the forum for ideas on exercise and nutrition,..

welcome to the site and enjoy your stay

Hi! We are in the same exact boat... Gosh, I feel like I posted that. I am 152-155 lbs and 5"8! I want to go back to my 125-130 days and this seems to be impossible. The last time I lost a lot of weight was in 2003 doing Atkins. Needless to say, I gained everything back and some. I keep breaking my highest weight, and I'm scared eventually I'll hit 200! That's just INSANE. I don't know what to do either, and I wonder how people do it!

Atkins = Just can't do it anymore.
Weight Watchers = Seems unrealistic.

Counting calaries, how the hell do you do that, if it's not packaged food? When my mom cooks dinner, it's already done? Am I supposed to scrape up all the ingredients...weight my food, etc? That's so not realistic!

I feel as if I eat NORMAL.

If you want, keep in touch with progress! I'm going to put out a post, and if you send me your email -- I'll let you know what people tell me.
