Where do you work out?

Just to get an idea of where people work out no real point to this just curoius :). I personally work out at 24 hour fitness I love going to a gym because it has all the weights and equipment I need. The only down side is its easy to not drive there on days that im tired but I have been good the last three months have only missed 3 work out days :)

me too! 24 hour fitness.. nice place, nice people, nice sauna :::drooling::: lol... anyways i really like it, and it's not the most expensive..

I work out here at home :) We have a Gold's home gym, and a tread mill (which I hate the living daylights out of it becayse whenever I walk on it my hip starts to hurt...and it doesn't have shock absorbers, so I can't run on it without going THUNK THUNK THUNK all the time), but I only use the latter if I HAVE to...if I don't, then I go out for a 20 minute walk outside.

Nice rack abear! ;)

Let's see, I sometimes use the gym at the university, sometimes the gym that I'm a member of, sometimes at the fencing and martial arts center where I teach a class, and on Sundays in my backyard where we flip tires, throw kegs, farmers walks, and drag my Buick.

I workout at my local gym there company is 'BodyLine' i go there 4 times a week and when i'm not there at home i do some free weights and abs at home.. sometimes go for walks with my family which are like 6-7 mile long and sometimes up hills

I have a membership to the local YMCA, where I go to use the pool for lap swimming.

I have a few areas at home where I work out.All my boxing equipment is in the basement, my kettlebells and power rack/freeweights are in a room off our living room, and in the garage are my medicine balls, climbing rope, gymnastic rings, sandbag, keg, and tractor tire and sledgehammers.

i go to fitnessworld (forum name backwards what first caught my eye about this forum) its the only place besides the rec centre but the rec centres like 5 times father away and its the same price with less equipment.

I work-out at St. Joseph's College gym in Hartford. I don't go to school there, but you don't have to be a student there to join the gym, and it's only 1.6 miles from the house! (I like to bike-ride there in the nice weather)

wow ballast sounds like you got a great set up lol :)

It better be after all the money I have dumped into it over the years. ;)

I use to have a cargo net as part of an obstacle course I had set-up in my backyard but the neighbors began to think I was part of some paramilitary training outfit and got a little worried. So we moved it to a friends property and let his neighbors worry about it.

I have a HUGE home gym. I also have a membership to the YMCA. I go there for a few things that I don't have at home, like squat rack, leg press, calf press.

I like my home set up the best. I have a recumbent bike for the evenings, when I’d anyway watch tv, and a vcr/dvd player for the mornings, when I do workout videos, mostly that I got cheap on half.com. I have sets of weights that I got from modell’s…two each of 2 lbs, 5 lbs., and 10 lbs…a set of 10 lb ankle weights…and a bunch of cheery tees to wear while doing it!

Ballast, what do you use for the straps on your power rings?

My power rings came with straps and adjustable buckles so you can change the height at which they hang.I got them for about $80 from (I think-Tyler Hass's site).Too bad they are back in Michigan with most of my training stuff.

I now live in a condo in Scottsdale, Arizona and am forced to do my kettlebell/sandbag training on my tiny ass patio which is really going to suck when the temperature gets up into the hundreds. The only perk is I frighten and confuse the hell out of all the yuppies that live here.
