....the Drive, the Motivation, the Inner strength to hit the gym or workout on a regular basis???
I used to be in great shape. I used to be a very active person. But recently at 25 I put those things aside to and focused on my career. I have been in airline training for 3 months. Eating fastfood, staying up late memorizing everything, flying simulators all night long, studying, studying and more studying. Not taking care of my self physically because time didn't permit it. I am not fat by any means, but certainly not in shape for the sports I like to partake in. (skiing, running, surfing, kayaking, hiking, wakeboarding, etc.)
Now I am finally done and I am on the road 4 days a week living in hotels. I have plenty of time now.
I have tried to ease back into working out. But a lot of time I get to the hotel and it is so tough to get off my a$$ and go work out. Today I went running and felt really out of shape. Could only jog/walk 2 miles panting. It worries me since I have heart disease in my family history
What do you guys do to stay motivated and keep your eye on the prize>? Any tips to getting back into shape on the road??
