when to eat

hi i am trying to burn off as much fat as possible. so i was finking, how long after a cardio workout should i eat? and what kind of foods? cuz i was finking, if you don't eat after a cardio workout, don't your muscles get burnt up heaps too? but if you eat, don't all the energy you just burnt up get replaced immediately and there won't be any fat burnt? someone help me out here :p
 
if you're worried about muscle being eaten at then have a high g.i. carb immediately after the cardio, and a protein.

the cardio will still benefit you

also - to help you burn fat - eat as soon as you get up and then small meals every 2 hours thereafter.
