What's up?

Hi, new member here.

I was looking for an online fitness community, this is the first forum i came across, it looks pretty "fly"...

So I actually started losing weight about 3 months ago, i was really fet up, and didn't like my body. I was 176 then and i'm 154 now, 6 foot tall. Now i know that the ideal weight for a 6 foot stud is 185 pounds, but i'd rather get to 148 and have NO fat than be 185 and have ~40 pounds of fat!. The more fat i lose the more attractive i find myself, i still have a gut though and some amount of fat in my tights, but my face looks so much better. People who's facial traits are prominent, like the models who have "holes" between their cheek bones and jaw are much more attractive than those that have extra fat that covers their facial traits.

So here's my workout plan that i've been following for 3 months now, it's extremely simple.

2 times 45 minutes stationary bike sessions @ 160 heartbeat per minute.
I eat 5 400 calories meals a day (thanks to tom venuto for this one), 3 of them are protein meals (chicken breasts or tuna or 6 egg whites) while the other 2 are carbs (all bran + banana or huge salad).
I never binge, it was pretty hard at first not to, but I don't even think about it anymore.

I also workout intensely, 4 times a week
monday and thursday (pecs + triceps for 1 hour)
tuesday and friday (shoulders + back for 1 hour)
I take protein powder after each workout and steroid ... just kidding, no steroids. I also drink 3-4 liters of water daily.

That about covers it, i should be completely done with losing fat in 2-3 weeks at this rate and then it's just maintenance from thereon out.

Btw, i'm french so i might have made a couple of mistakes in my post, deal with it!!! :p

About the "ideal weight" - you shouldn't be paying attention to that as much as your body fat percentage. If you're looking for a quantitative measurement, that's the one that you should value, much more than weight.

How did you calculate 5400 calories a day? That seems like a heck of a lot of calories. Also, you don't need to separate your protein and carb meals - in fact, you shouldn't. As you'll know if you've read Venuto's stuff, the body cannot store protein and thus constantly needs it, throughout the day. Each meal should have protein.

Congratulations on never binging! Really nice work.

Ideally, workouts should be about 30 - 45 min long, but I don't think that 60 min should be a problem, although you may want to look into shortening it. How many differnt exercises do you do?
