Whats the best way to get more energy?

Im a person that sits almost all day, eather on the computer or watching tv. I need something to get my motablizem up so i can lose weight, and not sit in a chair after eating(like i do almost all the time) :(:(
 
The best longterm plan would be to get more active...instead of watching TV, go for a walk. Get educated on simple exercises you could do at home, on the floor, and do that while watching TV...

There's not much you can do about sitting all day at work, but for every hour of work, get up and do some full body stretches. This will leave you feeling a little more energized.

i work behind a desk for 8 or more hours a day. i exercise before work and try to throw something in after work also. when i dont for whatever reason, it makes you feel so drained.

and during the day i get up and go take a walk outside for about 5 minutes. i look at the sky, hear the sounds, realize life is still going on while i'm chained to my desk. LOL
 
You really just have to want to get active more than just sitting watching TV. Positive re-enforcement by peers will help a great deal but you have to find something you enjoy doing. If you are too drained to even do the things you enjoy doing, try a multivitamin with a lot of vitamen B in it. You will probably feel better all day.
