hi i was just wondering what peoples opinions were on the best form of gym equipment for fat burning might sound like a silly question but i just interested in what other people find suitable for them anyway thx guys :) :)

Hi There,
I'm sure you'll get a lot of opinions and advice - and no doubt, far more informed then mine - but IMO it's the exercise you'll most likely ENJOY doing.

I hate working out inside a building. I need to be outside and feel like I'm playing. If I had to go to a gym, I'd be surprised if I ever made it there.

there's the winner... if you enjoy it - you'll keep at it - whatever it is -sure there will always be some other way that burns more calories or whatever but if what you're doing is fun - it doesn't seem like work and you'll do it forever...

walking - dancing (even shakin' your booty singing into the hairbrush around your bedroom :note to self: remember to close blinds in bedroom) 0 running -whatever you enjoy... you can always start slower and pick up the pace as your confidence in the activity grows

Nothing is more important that that. After all, this is not a "diet"; it's a change in your lifestyle that you intend to make permanent. So the idea is not to think of an exercise style that you'll enjoy while you grind your way through the next few month. Rather, you should think of something you'll still be doing when you're old and gray.

Having said that, the most beneficial thing is to find a combination of cardio and weight training. The cardio will help your cardio-vascular system. The weight training will help your overall body, improve your strength, and give you more powerful bones.
