I'm not even really sure what you're asking. Are you asking what will burn more calories?

I mean biking is, in some situations, better than walking b/c it's no impact so it's easier on the knees for those who need that sort of thing.

You can have a tendency to do less 'work' biking if you tend to ride on flat or declined terrain simply b/c you can coast.

Hopefully you can see my point... it depends hugely on a bunch of variables.
