whats better and if you got time give me some tips please

Hey,

I workout mon,,wed,fri and somtimes on the weekend and I was wondering what are sets, and is it better if your doing bicept curls to do 3 curls with alot of weight or is it better to do like 9 curls with not so much weight. I also do sit up on the incline bench how many are you soppose to do and do you do sets?

A set would be performing a set number of reps before you stop. IE 10 curls would be One set of 10 repetitions.

Since your a beginner i'd recommend sets of 8-12 reps.
 
newf is right.

also as a beginner, I wouldn't focus on bicep curls. work the back, chest, shoulders and legs with compound freeweight exercises. all your smaller muscles (like arms) will get worked with compounds.
