What would be better for...

Bulking in general? Should I do split workouts or should I do 3 days of full body workouts? I have a split workout made up already, and I can finally start lifting again once soccer is over (since we are in State Sectionals, and I am not sure how far we will go). Could you also give me a reason why I should, as well as give me a full body workout (if possible).

If you want stats, here:
Age: 17
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 158
BF%: between 10-12%
Bench: 125 x 8 (summer)
Deadlift: 195 x 6 (summer)
Squats: unknown, I forgot to write down

Any help would be appreciated.

It all depends how good your program is, how good your technique is and how hard you push yourself.

I like upper/lower splits. some ppl would rather do true full body.

There is no point in spliting up upper body workouts unless your a bodybuilder.

Ok. Also just curious for anyone, how could I get myself into the habit of drinking water instead of soda. For one, I think I will eventually become a diabetic with how much soda I am drinking, and two I think my gains would be more effective if I flushed out my kidneys and liver of the "water" already in their. Any help?

Yeah, traditional splits (like chest/tris, back/bis, legs/shoulders etc) are better for body builders.

I like upper/lower or full body. A smart program should, in my opinion, hit everything twice a week. With an upper lower that would happen, with a full body you would hit everything three times a week. That' a huge difference than with a traditional split because the frequency is a lot higher. It's important to keep in mind though that with a fbw you only do about one exercise per muscle group - usually. For example:

Back squats, romanian deads, bench press, rows, military press. Just an example.

Really though, your focus is gonna have to be on the food in order to bulk successfully.

Stop whining about the soda and just drink water;) , it really shouldn't be that hard.
