can part of my full body workout routine just be a 150 pushups for my chest...along with doin an excersise where you lay on bench and push two dumbells up in the air...idk wat it is called...but is that enough for the pecs
 
depends on your level of training. for a newcomer, yes, a few sets of just bench press is enough for one session. however you should be able to do 3 sessions a week. lower volume, but more frequency.

the common trend is, the longer you've been training, the more volume you do, but the frequency decreases.

an IFBB pro bodybuilder might do 15-20 sets for the chest, 3-4 different exercises, then doesn't work chest again for 5 days. but it took him 8-10 years to get to that stage.

training is a progressive thing. you don't walk outside and run a 20mile marathon the first day you start jogging...teh same holds true for weight lifting.
