What type of these foods should I look for?

Well I wanted to purchase some cottage cheese, yogurt, nuts, a good noodle that I can eat and anything else I can think of that would be healthy snack inbetween larger meals. I am trying to loose weight so if that helps. Anything else you can think of that I might like to try to make for a breakfast or a lunch or a dinner or a snack just post =]

What works for me is to eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and have an apple, banana, and orange through the day. The fruit is my lunch and snacks.
I do not get hungry during the day.

Proper diet set up

Lets keep it simple people. The basics in good proper eating habits are as follows. (notice I did not use the words DIET).

You need at least 3 proteins per day
You will need to consume about 3 servings of fruits per day.
You will need to consume about 2 servings of vegetables per day.
and no more than 4 starches per day.
Diary is part of the equation but I take calcium supplements.

For supplementation. You will need a multivitamin, omega 3 and possibly depending on the amount of activity you do you may need a B-12. All other supplements you take at your own risk and I'm talking about fat burners. Not recommended for the faint at heart.:D

Any other questions please feel free to contact me.

Right now I have high blood pressure and im being medicated for it has oh 2 days ago or so I dont really think I need supplements I just take TriFlex for my ankle which still hurts =[

I don't know what type of injury you sustained, but I am curious regarding your hypertension.

What is your age?
When were you diagnosed with hypertension?
How long have you been taking medication and have they had to increase it or decrease it in the last 6 months?

There is a reason for the questions that I am asking. I know this is private information and if you like please private message me to further discuss your goals.

To give you better background about me, I am a firefighter/paramedic and former personal trainer that is getting recertified. I too had hypertension and am currently free of any signs of hypertension. I went from 150/100 to now that I am at 100/60.
