What TV Shows aren't as good as they used to?

thats a tough one because these days every show that keeps having extra seasons usually starts off good but gets worse and even unwatchable later on.

- Greys anatomy (i was the no.1 fan, but have been very dissapointed especially with this last season).
- Weeds (had a great start but again the last season wasn't anything to write home about)
- Prison Break (i agree with you, i think season 1 was excellent, season 2 was okay, i couldn't go past that because it was just getting annoying)
- 24 (just as above i thought the first season was excellent, the second was okay, after that i couldn't stand jack baeur it's like they made him superman or something, i just couldn't stand it anymore lol!)

shows that in my opinion got better towards the end:

-sex and the city (the series got better with time and ended just at the right time at its peak, unfortunately for me the movie really sucked)
-friends (was always funny but i loved the last few seasons more)
-Lost (i'm the no.1 fan of this show, however no spoilers please because i haven't watched this season yet, i want to watch it all in one go at the end of the season....can't wait, it's the one show thats on now that i think just keeps getting better!)

ummm cant think of any others now...and yes i'm a recovering TV JUNKIE, i could talk about tv all day long

Slightly different twist, but I LOOOOVE:
Star Trek (all except DS9)
Monk
Pushing Daisies
Biggest Loser
House.

For retro, I dig:
Magnum, P.I. (oooh that stache!!! mmmmm...)
Facts of Life
Little House on the Prairie
Brady Bunch (I know, how embarrassing!)

...now you know!
Cheers
ABBA

I knew about the novels, so I was really excited when I heard that this series was going to air.
In my opinion, True Blood is a very interesting show that can bring us innovation, when compared to other TV Shows of the same style. It combines comedy, mystery, gore, overall being a very entertaining series, that does stand out from the rest of the shows of the same genre (the "vampire fever"). The actors are perfectly cast (Anna Paquin does a tremendous performance as Sookie Stackhouse), and so far the episodes have been way awesome (Season 2 was absolutly fantastic). I'm glad that True Blood has been confirmed a fourth season, and hopefully there'll be more to come.

For me Grey's Anatomy has definitely lost its charm as the seasons have gone on...I find 7 (or is 6 the most recent?) to be starting off v slowly after all the action and shootings in the former season. Also 24...although it's still pretty addictive, it has completely lost the originality, and credibility of earlier seasons.

The Office - Just isn't what it used to be for my taste. It seems like they are really stretching for plot ideas lately.
