This should be good, lets see how much people do/don't take. Basically things OTHER than food.

  • Fish Oil (every day)
  • Flax oil (every day)
  • Dag Oil (mainly when leaning down, and on a deficit)
  • Protein Powder (used mostly when wanting to gain weight around normal eating, and less to nearly non-existent when dieting down, prefer hard longer digestion foods within this period)
  • Multi-vitamin (every day)
  • Creatine Mono: When wanting to increase weight (more water retention)
  • Creatine Ethyl Ester: When leaning down at a certain point (less or no water retention)

And that's it. Nothing remarkable.

I've tried many other supps, many of which really didn't do anything beneficial.

hmmm, I take nothing, I just try and keep my protein content high by eating a lot of beef, nuts and chicken. I should at least be taking fish oils though, just been a bit lazy with that

Creatine (on workout days, to lessen soreness)

The whey and creatine are at my fiance's "expert" suggest :p The flax oil and greens powder I add to my smoothies to feel like I'm doing something healthy.

- whey/casein blend other times and whey isolate post workout
- Maltodextrin/Dextrose post-workout

I'm surprised none of you takes crap like BSN NoExplode and other stuff like that.

Can you elaborate on that, as I was actually planning to buy it after reading some praiseful reviews. I am wondering if all BSN products are like that too. Let me know your opinion.

OK so heres what Im taking now. Please feel free to give me your thoughts on what or how I should change things as Im new to supplements.

-ON Gold standard Whey post workouts
-ON creatine 5grams a day
-NOW Omega 3 fish oils (180 EPA/120 DHA whatever that means and three capsules a day)

In addition to that Im taking 50mg of 5-HTP a day and will be adding a multi vitamin here soon.
 
My Goal - Lose weight and increase lean body weight (i.e. build muscle) through mix of light 30 min. Cardio and Weight Training six days a week.

Supplements:
1. Multivitamin
2. FlaxSeed Oil (2 caps a day, morning/night)
3. Whey Protein Powder post-workout (Generic)
4. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Casein Powder before bed (in water)
