What should i eat?

I get extremely hungry after school when i get home, between then and dinner. i dont want to eat dinner early cuz then ill get hungry again before i sleep again. so what should i eat after school? do i need will power to eat THAT apple on the table instead of those nice and greasy chips? :eek:
 
Everyone watching their weight needs willpower. It's a common known fact. How will you be able to resist those nice yummy chips and eat an apple instead without willpower? You have to set your mind on it and tell yourself no. Or you'll find yourself snacking a bag full of them in no time.

Also, if you don't really like apples, find something else that you do like, that is healthy. Try yoghurt for example (do watch the calories though, some are packed with more than your favorite chocolate dessert.)

What works for me is starting the day off with a good breakfast. I used to eat very little in the morning (y'know the less=better mentality) which resulted in me still being hungry after lunch and grabbing something to snack right after school. Now I eat a big bowl of oatmeal in the morning and have a normal lunch and it keeps me filled up enough to resist snacking.

You may want to take a look at your overall eating habits. Are you eating breakfast? Are you eating alot of junk and fast food?

If you aren't eating enough during the day....that's when you end up eating too much at night.
