What should I be eating

Hi I Joined the gym 1 month ago and I'm feeling fitter but the scales aren't going down.I have no idea what I should be eating.
Can someone give me an Idea on what you eat for breakfast, Lunch dinner?

I went to the gym this morning I came home had a bowl of cereal and I'm still straving so I'm having 2 peices of toast.

I should add that I want to lose 5 kgs.

Any advice?
 
How much you should eat depends on your age, height, weight, body fat, daily activity level, and a host of other things.

Generally I recommend eating 5-6 times per day. Your first meal is within an hour after waking and each meal thereafter is 2-3 hours a part. Each meal has a protein and a carb.

Eat before working out. Some people prefer to do cardio on an empty stomach though. But always eat before strength training.

General protein/carb meals are:

- Chicken and Brown Rice
- Cottage Cheese and Blueberries
- Eggs and Oatmeal
- Protein Shake and Apple
- Turkey and Sweet Potatos
- Tuna on Rye
- Greens (salad) with Chicken and Cottage Cheese
 
Don't worry about the scale not going down. Worry about Fat percentage, that is a better measurment. Also do weights before your cardio, this makes your workout more efficient.
