Hi,
Have been on the weight loss/fitness road now for about 6 months and it has gone very well.

I will give you a short overview of the progress etc to put my end goal into perspective.

I am 6 foot, male and naturally quite muscular. I am in my early twenties.

Last Christmas I weighed 15 stone. Whilst it was hardly a serious problem, I was very uncomfortable
with my size and my eating habits were terrible.

Fast forward to me now, I weigh 12 stone and eat pretty cleanly and go for runs frequently.

I am very, very pleased with my weight loss, however I have hit something of a barrier.

Whilst I am certainly not large, I still have quite a bit of extra fat around my waist/stomach.

I ideally want to become a lot more solid and muscular, though not ridiculous. I just don't know the best way
to proceed. Do I lose more weight? Or is it now a case of serious exercise? I have no idea if the fat will disappear
in place of muscle, or if just continuing to eat super clean will provide the results?

Thank you for any input!

I think you will have to take up weight work but make sure you eat the right diet to support building muscle and you can't build muscle while in calorie deficit so you need to be prepared to eat more to build muscle. Once you have built muscle you can reduce calories and you should lose fat while retaining the muscle and get the abs you want.
