What made this time stick?

For those who had trouble yo-yoing, what made the final time stick (if you made it to your goal, or close enough)?

Was anything different? Did you circumstances change?

I'm personally having a difficult time with staying consistant. I do great for a while, then it stops and before I realize it, 2 months or so have passed and I've gained some of the weight back.

I know there isn't any magic technique, but maybe someone figured something out that would help me (or someone else) too. I have a goal to meet by June. This is the first time I had a realistic goal with a definite deadline where I'm getting started with enough time to meet it without sticking perfectly to my diet (meaning, if one month I don't do so well, its not really going to hurt my chances).

I've never felt pressure to keep a goal like I have now, so I'm hoping it helps. I'm just tired of failing. It makes each subsequent time harder. I think it mostly comes down to I'm a weak person and I can only go for so long without breaking, but Im hoping that isn't true.

if this is the time that it's gonna be forever..only time can tell..

but for me, it was about completely changing my frame of mind, making myself and my wellbeing my first priority and adding just a bit of narcissism (in the good way) to my general selfless state of mind.

it was also about learning what goes into processed food/meals/take aways and why i do not want these things in my body.

there are some things that you won't always be able to avoid but the ones you can, i am making a point of doing so.

that's it for me ;)
