I've been doing research to try to find a diet that works for me and my lifestyle and I was just wondering what kind of diets other people are on.
The one that I've found that appeals most to me is the clean diet, mostly because it doesnt involve any intracte dishes and has you eating unrefined foods. But at the same time it appears to rather expensive and I'm a poor college student.
I'd love to hear what other people are doing!

Im against diets as the only weight losing method. One way or another u will have to do soem excerscises.. no matter what

I do exercise as well, I know that the only way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. I actually do half an hour to an hour of cardio a day and weight train 2 or 3 days a week. I was just wondering what kinds of diets people were using, like example meals and snacks.

I rejected the idea of `diets' some time ago, they seem temporary and doomed to fail. I changed the way I eat to generally encompass the following :

No sugar, no snacking, no really fatty foods, portion control.

Once I got used to it, it became a lot easier. The weight has been drifting away ever since! It's also much cheaper to eat like I am now, than how I was eating.

Example for dinner - skinless chicken breast, with garlic and herbs, cooked slowly in a covered pan. In another pan, some sliced vegetables cooked with some water and stock powder until just tender. Very good for you, and very cheap. You could eat like this for under $5.00 per meal.

I'm doing a reduced carb protocol.

Outside of the workout window, all my carbs come from vegetables and fruit and the occasional oatmeal.

Post workout, I have a PWO drink consisting of:

25g dextrose
35g maltodextrin
30g whey
1.5-2cps skim milk.
