I like weight watchers. That is pretty much how I was raised to eat as a kid. Regular mealtimes, eat at the kitchen table with the family, second portions were frowned upon, we cleaned up after dinner and moved on to a different activity before bed. We did not open the fridge in between meal times, and everything in the fridge was planned for a specific meal. It wasn't hard...it was just how one behaved in regard to food and meals. I pretty much raised my own kids the same way. THEN...when the kids got older, and we all got so busy, it was too easy to order a pizza or grab a bag of burgers. I was not raised that way at all! Once I started eating that way regularly...it became the norm and I found myself moving away from home cooked meals and towards restaurant eating and fast food. What a slippery slope! There is a specialty restaurant for every meal! And...it is not that expensive...so it is an easy trap to fall into. It has become very tempting to plan all of our meals out. But...I think I am truly sick of it! I want to go back to home cooking. Wish me luck, and let me know if you have any delish recipes that are low calorie and healthy. Good luck to everyone here.
