What Is The Risk?

Alright so im pretty sure i have a slight tear in my miniscus. Going to the doctor monday to get it checked. Would it make it any worse if i still workedout my legs, such as squats deads, powercleans? It doesn't hurt when im working out, but i think i might be making it worse although i can't feel the pain. Football is approaching fast so i really dont want to stop working my lowerbody.
 
if you have any tear in any muscle you should let it heal completely.

you do not want this to develope into anything ugly. trust me on this. if you aggrivate it more, you will put yourself back 2x as far as if you just let it heal. trust me bro just let it heal.
 
IMO, Any resistance movement that involves any type of knee contraction should be avoided until further diagnosis is received. That which can be gained by doing a couple more workouts between now and Monday pales in comparison to that which can be lost if the possible tear worsens.
 
Thanks guys. It probaly is smart to give the knee a break until further instruction. Hopefully the doctor just recomends ice and rest, and no surgery:eek:
