How fast is quick weight loss? A week ,a month or...?

I started today with my weight loss program, i got a massive 41,7Kg to lose!

But i will get there because i know there is no such thing as "quick" weight loss, weight loss is a lifestyle !

Feel free to follow my blog as i will tell each day what i eat and drink etc.

Remember it took you years to gain weight, how can you expect to lose it in a week?

I'm not sure what the point of your post is. Is it a question or a link to your blog or ... ?

To begin with, you can't define "quick weight loss" by just a time period without knowing other information as well.

Next, I would suspect that most people have a skewed idea of what "quick" weight loss is because of the media and shows like "The Biggest Loser".

My personal definition is that quick weight loss, however you define it in terms of time or pounds, is ultimately unsustainable weight loss. It's usually unhealthy and impossible to maintain over the long term.

I think that some of those google ads on your blog fall perfectly into the category of promoting quick and unsustainable weight loss.

quick weight loss = losing water weight...

Thats about it, there is no quick weight loss....

No, your right, there is no quick weight loss. commitment and consistancy are the best friends you can have during your lifestyle change!

btw..i removed the link to your blog as its against forum rules. Feel free to start a journal here and we can support your journey!

Weight loss can't be quick as it requires time and effort.

However, it can be accelerated by following a balanced food regime and exercising regularly. As the others said above, it's a kind of a lifestyle that takes your health into consideration.

There are again a new pill on the market, it is very expensive, the thing is people spend thousands even millions and they get results yes,but the results do not last. You can do it without spending money on pills and stuff if the people just wants to learn how.

thats why i started to blog about it

PS: i am no pro in blogging, but i am not scared to try :biggrinjester:

41 KGS?

Give yourself a year for this and put in an insane amount of hardwork.

the way I see it, 8 pounds a month is possible. given the speed of weight loss gradually decreases, at the end of the year you can look at 80-85 pounds which is close enough.

That is about 92 pounds which I would have said was certainly achievable.

I had to work hard - but I lost actually more weight than that in my first year without resorting to pills and potions (other than normal multivitamin style supplements not connected to weight loss).

Eat healthily (keeping a firm eye on all your nutrition) and exercise regularly and I am sure that you will hit your target. The hardest part is retaining focus.

Joining challenges and clubs and building your support network should help to keep you motivated.

Good luck.

41kg is very achievable. I lost 36kg in less than a year just by controlling calories, cutting out junk and packaged foods, and adding in exercise.

You don't need pills or potions or anything like that. You just need to make a commitment to being healthy and STICK WITH IT.

The reason most people don't succeed is that they give up. You can't give up or look for a quick fix - you have to commit yourself to it for the long haul.

I don't think so that weight can be loss in few days or in few hours we have to do lots of struggle for that or we have to do regular hard exercises so that sweat will come and we loss some weight ...
