What is going on with my weight?

I binged big time last night and I’m so ashamed of my self. At 7:00 p.m. I ate a blueberry sone, a muffin, 3 bowls of cereal, a poppy seed mini muffin and some ice cream. And I weight ed myself this morning and it said 134 lbs!!! Where the day before while I was on my diet I weight 129 lbs. Then after I exercised I weighed 131 lbs. What is going on here? Did I actually gain 2 or three lbs in fat? I know a lot of it could be water weight, but how much of that could actually be fat??? Please help me, I feel so bad, especially because I worked so hard the previous week to shed that 1 lb. Please help,

Enough with the being ashamed of yourself..

It's really not productive...

Losing weight is a process... it takes time and consistency to get where you want to be...

Like Maleficent said, we all have our screw up days :) Funny how the food tastes so much better too when you've been dieting, lol. But no worries, you really didn't gain 2 full pounds. You'd have had to eat a WHOLE lot more than that. I know from personal experience and also from alot of reading that your body can vary 5lbs on the scale either way for a number of reasons. That's why alot of people recommend only weighing yourself so often and using measurements. I can't help it though...I hop on the scale more than once a week, especially if I'm losing, lol. But since I do that I keep in mind the variation possibility and don't let the scale freak me out unless I'm continually going up over a period of several weeks.

:svengo:Salt and hormones always affect my weight negatively. don't bother wasting your energy feeling upset with yourself over what you did. You are only human! If you can recognize what triggered the binge it might be helpful in avoiding such an episode in the future.

Best wishes as you continue your journey :auto:

Step on your scale 3 different times in one day and you'll have 3 different numbers. It's probably water weight...it sucks to see though. Try only weighing yourself twice a week instead. Then it won't mess with your head as much.
