What does Before do to get to After?

So I'm new to this site :D ( great site btw, all the befores and after are AwEsOmE, motivate me like crazy, you're all so hot >__>
...'specially the boys ...
ok ok I'm saying that just cus I'm a girl xD dangit the girls blow me away just as well =P ) And I've been thinking about posting myself up here for a while

I've been working out for a week kinda =D I'm 17 years old and I weight 63 kg ( don't know it in lb's as we don't use that system here ) and I'm 170 cm tall. ( Haven't dared to put up my before pictures, so I'll wait with that >__> ) want to see where healthy eating and exercise takes me :)

BUT
DETERMINED to Loose it ALL, excess fat ~ ( 6/7 kg )​

I however did come here to seek some advice

I wake up every morning at 5 o'clock before school to go out and run for 30, 45 minutes, and I skip all the crap in my diet, no ice cream or white bread, eat regularly etc.
But I'd like to know if you guys have any more tips of what I could do? ( Without actually having to pay for lessons xD Cus it's in the middle of the semester and my mom won't pay for a whole term's lessons, hehe xD :)() ) And also if the method I use now for getting fit is really a good one? Reaching out to you all that know more about this than me =P haha

Anyways, been thinking about running for an hour instead? And perhaps find some other kind of workout additional to this ( I could scrape together SOME money if it proves really beneficial :p )

MY Tips

Here are some tips and pointers-

If you drink soda, STOP- even if it's diet, it's still not good for you- water, milk, iced tea, hot tea are good

Watch where you eat- if you eat in your car- stop. if you eat while on the computer- stop. if you eat while on the couch- stop. if you eat in bed-stop. if you eat anywhere besides your kitchen table, or a restaurant (not burger king or mcdonalds) or at a lunch table- stop.

Watch when you eat- eat in the morning, afternoon and early evenings- do not eat 3 hours before your bedtime

Incorporate these foods into your diet- Apples, blueberries, chicken, turkey, fish, fruits and vegetables (both frresh and frozen)

Remember the "WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and HOW"

WHO- Who you eat with- eat with other healthy conscience people so they can motivate you
WHAT- What are you eating? Is it good for you? Is it something that is held together with glues and sugars and other 'stuff'- If you have to ask "What"? when reading a package of food, its not good for you- natural is the best
WHERE-Where you are eating will limit your food intake. Just like when you sleep- you sleep in your bedroom- not the kitchen or car (the average person doesnt) so you should only eat where your supposed to
WHEN-When you eat should not be when you're hungry- it should be on a schedule- (I get a lot of people that do not agree with me with this- but it works) I understand most people can not follow a 'schedule' to eat and cant always be at a table when they eat- but you have to try.--- At first it may be hard but it gets easier when time goes on... right now a lot of people eat when they're hungry or when they see food.(this is true in America)- in other countries (especially Italy) you eat breakfast in the morning, lunch around noon, and dinner around 6 at night. - Right now food and eating is like an addiction and it is hard to break. Like smoking- people find themselves smokng while they are on the computer or driving or watching TV- however, they do not smoke in the office or on public buses or malls or in certain peoples houses--- how do they coupe? They either don't smoke or else they pay the consiquences.- (there are certain times and places that you can or can not do something) you need to train your stomach to chill out and not be like the Venus Fly Trap in "Little House of Horror's" FEED ME... - once your stomach realizes it will get fed in due time, you wont be hungry all the time- you just have to get over the first few days
HOW- How you eat should be slow. Don't 'pig out'- eat slow! The faster you eat, the more you want because your stomach which is saying FEED ME still wants more because the brain and stomach arent communicating correctly
WHY- Why you eat should be because it is time to eat (breakfast, lunch or dinner) and you need fuel. Now don't get me wrong, you can still SNACK on a pretzel or carrot stick if you feel hungry or sluggish before your next meal- but don't constantly eat and eat. - and dont eat because you're depressed or bored or because there is food there.

Walk up the steps, dont park close to the door- park in the back of the parking lot and walk. walk to the store or bank- dont use your car (unless you live out in nowhere)

You need to take control of your stomach and YOU tell IT when its time to eat.

Ok- I think that is about all I have. -

Just a disclaimer---- These tips did not come from a book or a doctor or a specialist or a website- These tips are my own- they worked for ME. I made them up when I graduated from college and weighed 289lbs! I graduated in Culinary and food was right there when I wanted it...
My father worked for the CIA and he was a 'military father'--- do this, do that, dont do this, dont do that... although I hated living like while living under his roof, I started to re-incorporate his ways into my life again--- I wasnt allowed to eat anywhere but the kitchen table- I wasnt allowed to eat cookies and all that junk food- If I wanted to go somewhere and it was close by- Walk- If I didnt eat when the food was on the table, I didnt eat... (yes, it was strict, but it was also smart if you think about it)

Long story short- within a year I was down to 204lbs (I am 6ft4in - Male) so I was where I needed to be- my BMI was no longer in the high 30's it was at 25 - i wasnt considered 'obese' anymore- I was 'slightly overweight'... right now I weigh 230lbs-- I was on prescription pills for anxiety and I gained a lot of weight from them so I got off of them and starting to eat right again= so I am getting back down to where I need to be following MY rules... - I just quit smoking 5 months ago- i lost weight while being on Chantix and a diet pill my doctor prescribed to me so I wouldnt gain much weight during november (October 3rd I was taking Chantix and I lost weight- when I was done with them at the end of October- my doctor prescribed the diet pill for November as a precaution) and ever since I've been smoke free, Chantix free and diet pill free!

If you want to do it and you put your mind to it, you CAN and WILL do it!

Sorry for the long, boring stories- but i hope you learned something from this post!
