What do Women Need that Men Already Got?

Here I am again, posting in the men's room about women's matters.

Anyway, I have just returned from teaching a group of sedendtary, middle-aged women about the virtues of weight training for age-reversal, healthy bones, weight control, body transformation, etc. - Amazing.

Some of these women reported no benefit from the circuit training machines - they went to chat with the other women, sat down on a machine, left, and were still chubby and sedentary one-year later.

Now they want to try pumping iron like a man! It was difficult, however, convincing these women that weight training is not a group adventure where you hop up and down on a box with a 3 lb. weight in your hand.

When it comes to weight training, what women need is mind as well as body transformation. They need to develop some pride in their own personal journey to move heavy weight, develop physique, and experience intensity - . Research supports this.

But why do women flock to group settings? And why do they want to always be jumping around so much? How can a woman be more like a man?

women shouldnt be afraid of doing free weight exersices.. mashines isolate (usually) and they are not at all as efficant as free weights.
Though men gain more muscle than women due to nature, men have more testosterone (sp?) than women.
i think a big part of the reason women done do free weights is because its so man dominated, but dont be afraid of walking into the free weights pit at the gym, im a guy and i dont mind seeing more females there! :)

I think alot of women flock to a group setting bc of comfort and support.. Maybe they jump around alot bc they are convinced that thats the way to lost weight?? I train with free weights and I love it no I don't want to be like a man , just be as strong and fit as I can be, lift my patients with ease and have a rock hard body even after two kids and trying to age gracefully!!lol. I lift as heavy as I can on any given day that I am comfortable with. That might mean I lift 135lbs as a max on my front squat one day and 185lbs on another day.. its all good as long as I lift. Good luck finding the answers to your questions, I probably didn't help but atleast I tried! :D
