i'm 5'10" 221.2 lbs 25.3% body fat

I attached the photo of my diet that i'm doing 6x a week. i'm doing weight training in the morning when i wake up so my 6:30am meal before the gym is a smoothie cause i heard liquid digests faster. i work from 9-9 and I don't eat anything after my last meal at 6:00pm. I usually do an intense cardio before I go to bed. And I drink almost a gallon of water and 3 cups of green tea a day.

I just wanted to know if I should change anything?

I also definitely need to cut out my sodium and lower carbs without decreasing fiber, any suggestions?

I'd cut out the mozerella as you're having that twice a day. Maybe replace it with low-fat cheese triangles or a piece of fruit or something. Also, are you a dude? Because if you are, you should be eating more calories than 1300. xx

yea i'm a dude just trying a fat-loss diet that focuses mainly on protein but trying to keep my meals balanced and small throughout the day

Welcome Iam :)

IMPO, dairy is not great for cutting fat. But then I probably don't eat enough dairy !

The truth of the matter, is that a proper, balanced, healthy diet, will help you feel better, more energetic, and maybe, live longer.

But for losing fat "right now" it's all about keeping a deficit in your cals. Later on, if you plan to do any bulking, you will be able to eat a bunch too ;)

I'd suggest doing some research on "macro balances" for losing weight, building muscle, or whatever....

What is your goal for your "low weight" point ? Then how much heavier / bigger would you like to get with lean muscle ?

Goals are important, but not everybody is the same.....

I'm at about 210, 13% right now (I'm 6ft). But want to be 225@9% ;)

Peace,

PS, BTW, right now, you might be able to gain a little muscle, while losing fat at the same time.... or at least, maintain all of your current muscle mass, while losing fat. However, that only works like that for so long...

At some point, you will have to decide if you want to get into cutting and bulking (body building).

for right now, not trying to get too ahead of myself, give or take 200lbs and <15% body fat. i got down to 212 three years ago but i seemed to plateau. i guess i would like to focus more on fat burning instead of building muscle. i'm just going to morning weight lifting sessions just to reap the benefits of a metabolism boost that come with it.

I basically had the same question from with the opening of this topic and thanks to those who helped me learn a lot of great health stuff on weight loss plans.

Here's a thought. If you follow that diet you should do fine. There are however two things missing from that diet plan you posted. One-there is no catagory for sugar and Two-what's in that smoothie? Consider this...Atkin's is low carb high fat. The Japanesse eat high carb and low fat. They both produce the same results. The thing they have in common is no sugar. Fiber is the important to maintaining weight at a healthy level. Look at nature. Anything that has sugar in it has a lot of fiber. Sugarcane is basically a stick. You seem to be in a big rush all the time. If someone tells you to slow down you can't. There is a strong resistance to it. You define yourself as getting things done and by how much you do. The key to any diet or health plan is the mind. If you rush then you are ahead of the mind.

Current studies show that it is possible to reset the metabolism of the body by following certain diet plans. The success of those plans is dictated by the mind as it is in charge of what goes into the body. Something not addressed is that there is a mental metabolism that exists as well. If you reset that, then the body will follow.

yuppp,,,i agreed with that ,but i want to add something more in your suggestions, that may cause a better option to solve the problem of that first of all you have to balance your daily routine diet try to avoid oily foods, use a balanced suger level, which will cause more effective in making yourself more relaxed and active,,,,

and try to make frequent use of fruits in a day .....

I believe that if you change some basic regular activities than it also affect on your body weight. Getting small meals at regular interval can not increase the weight. Their are many vegetables that can control weight as well as get strong bone. Try to take fruits in the place of Snacks. definitely you lose weight with exercise but the habit of eating infact eating snacks can increase weight
